Is Arutas and Sardinia set to host the Cyclocross World Cup

La UCI Cyclo-Cross World Cup 2024-2025 marks a historic turning point by landing in Sardinia for the first time. The circuit starts on Sunday in Belgium from Antwerp, then moves to Ireland in Dublin and seven days later, on Sunday, December 8 to be precise, it will land in the beautiful beach of Is Arutas, in Cabras (Oristano). So again this year Italy maintains a stage in the cyclocross circus, in fact replacing the Vermiglio test, which had provided a unique show in the snow for the past three years.

The event, organized by Crazy Wheels in cooperation with PP Sport Events, will bring the best cyclocross athletes to compete on a circuit of about 3 km characterized by sand, grass, hills and a striking asphalt finish, with the breathtaking backdrop of the Mediterranean Sea. The elite women's race is scheduled at 1:40 p.m., the men's race at 3:10 p.m.

While according to Filippo Pozzato, CEO of PP Sport Events - "After the European Gravel in Asiago we are particularly happy to collaborate again with Flanders Classics, with whom an excellent synergy is emerging. This time we moved to an area of Italy that is new to us, but which I can guarantee is stunningly beautiful. Seeing the greats of cyclocross on the shores of the Mediterranean, on the prized sands of Is Arutas, will truly be an unmissable spectacle. We know that logistically it is not an easy trip for teams and fans, but the hope is that the uniqueness and charm of this event can still drive many fans to the coast of Sardinia, to spend a different and electrifying weekend."

Tickets are already available online at 15 euros, offering a chance to see the cyclocross champions up close in an extraordinarily beautiful natural setting. An unmissable event for fans and enthusiasts in Sardinia.
